There’s no better place for breakfast than New York City. The short time I spent there made me realise how breakfast is merely a time for you to begin to watch the city come alive, over a coffee and a pain au chocolat, looking out through the glass window from where you’re sat upon a tall wooden stool, with the New York Times as a place mat. Yellow flashes dashing by, the smoke rising from the manholes, and the heat and rumble from the subway; I will never forget.
It’s those simple things in life that mean the most to me. Breakfast is of course my absolute favourite! I like cosy autumn days, long walks wrapped up in too many layers that I can barely move, the fog lingering over the fields early on a Winter morning. Lying in bed listening to the rain, that first cup of tea - steaming hot, strong, and slightly sweet. I’m finding that I’m appreciating the things that get ignored so much more, the beautiful things in life that get overlooked. My appreciation for delicious food, wonderful friends & family (including my adorable dog!) and beautifully made/designed things is beginning to take over my life - but that I can handle!
This is basically my past, present and future in picture form, and how I see things being or just generally things that I find mesmerising or need to share with others!
Happy blogging!
P.S Here’s my other blog where I post my own photos
